Woodside Bus Station serves the Woodside area of, Birkenhead in Merseyside, England.
The bus station is 280 metres (300 yards) away from the Woodside Ferry Terminal.[1].
The terminal was constructed as an interchange for passengers who going to/coming from Liverpool via the Mersey Ferry. Woodside was main bus terminus in Birkenhead. However, it has declined in importance due to the opening of another Mersey Tunnel and an improvement in the Wirral Line (Liverpool Loop) rail link in the 1970s. Also the Birkenhead bus station was constructed closer to the town centre.
